Whoever said advertising isn’t saving lives wasn’t thinking big enough.
I’ve been lucky to be in some incredible teams in the last 25 years.
Likeminded souls who don’t wait for briefs to be written.
Who believe in finding human insights, and taking big creative leaps.
Creating ideas that make a real difference in the world.
My passion lies in innovative new media solutions with the power to change human behaviour.
That could be co-inventing a smart outdoor smoke detector network that reduces the impact of bushfires for Australians.
Or getting a testicular cancer message into the middle of a porn film.
Or calling up the President of Palau with an idea for a passport pledge to treat the islands with care.
Or opening a much-needed virtual pub during Covid-19.
And while helping make ideas like these a reality, there’s always Brand Comms to be written.
Be it a website, an eDM, a film script, a social post, a print ad, or the back of a bogroll pack.
(I can make bogroll fly off the shelves. Perhaps you saw some of my work during Lockdown?)
So I roll up my sleeves and write it.
Because it’s the craft that turns innovative thinking into a lasting part of culture.
Only then can you change behaviour.
And quite possibly, save lives.
